Two concerts at the Serralves em Festa! Festival in Porto. First a solo. Then a duo with Phil Minton. Phil is one of my dearest friends and one of my longest time collaborators. I first played with him in about 1980, a set a in London that was released as side 2 of the Voice of America LP. Have loved working with Phil every since. He was in my Say No More group, and more recently featured in my Book of Hours recording along with vocalists Shelley Hirsch and Theo Bleckmann.
Serralves is also a pleasure because I get to visit Pedro Rocha, the curator of Serralves and a close friend.
